New Jersey public school districts have a few more weeks before they are scheduled to submit their proposals for reopening to state officials and alert students of their back-to-school plans.But several districts have begun notifying the state’s 1.4 million students of their preliminary 2020-2021 plans as parents weigh whether to send their children back to the classroom in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.More than 500 school districts around the state are expected to draft their reopening plans using “The Road Back,” the lengthy state guideline document released last month.
