Parsippany resident arrested on outstanding warrant

He was also charged with Possession of Less than 50 grams of Marijuana

PARSIPPANY — While patrolling the area of 200 Baldwin Road on Saturday, September 15 at 8:15 p.m., Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Patrol Officer R. Taylor observed Ertac Hurman, 27, Parsippany, standing on the porch of one of the apartments. Officer Taylor was aware that Mr. Hurman had an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear and made contact with him.

While speaking to Mr. Hurman, he was also found to be in possession of a marijuana cigarette. He was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing.

While there he was charged with Possession of Less than 50 grams of Marijuana.

Mr. Hurman was unable to post the $1,000.00 bail for the Failure to Appear Warrant issued out of the Parsippany Municipal Court. He was remanded to the Morris County Correctional Facility pending his court appearance.
