Driver crashes into telephone pole

The driver causing the accident was issued a summons for failure to exhibit a registration, careless driving and improper passing on right

PARSIPPANY — Ms. Jillian Bostek, Parsippany, was traveling south on Littleton Road, attempting to make a right turn onto Dartford Road when Ms. Ming-Pen Wang, 60, Whippany, attempted to pass on the right of her vehicle.

Ms. Wang crashed into Ms. Bostek’s 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee and as a result of the initial impact, pushed her vehicle straight forward and crashed into a curb and then hit a utility pole. The telephone pole was completely split and came down.

Ms. Wang was driving a 2014 Honda Accord. There were no reported injuries.

Ms. Bostek’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Ajaco Towing.

Ms. Wang was issued a summons for failure to exhibit a registration, careless driving and improper passing on right.
