Stolen UPS package in Knoll Gardens

PARSIPPANY — Parsippany-Troy Hills Patrol Officer Scott Baker responded to a residence on Dafrack Drive for a reported stolen package on Thursday, August 16 at 10:51 p.m.

Upon his arrival, he spoke to the resident who advised him that UPS left a package at his door during the day and when he arrived home he had found the box opened and emptied.

The resident advised that the package was a gift sent to him and he would have to contact the sender to get a list of what items were stolen.

The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Parsippany Police Department Investigative Division at (973) 263-4311.
