
RANDOLPH โ The County College of Morris (CCM) Foundation will honor four of the collegeโs outstanding alumni at its gala, to be held Friday, May 4, at the Hanover Marriott.
Gene Fitzpatrick โ90, of Denville, senior vice president at Grey Healthcare Group, will be presented with the Alumnus of the Year Award. Dr. Vasiliki Tsigas-Fotinis โ82, of Succasunna, a creative learning consultant, will receive the Alumni Achievement award. Trish Colucci Barbosa โ85, of Long Valley, president and principal care manager at Peace Aging Care Experts, LLC, will be presented with the Alumni Service Award. And Dr. Zowie S. Barnes โ01, of Baltimore, onsite medical director at the Baltimore County Detention Center, will receive the Alumni Humanitarian Award.
โThis is an opportunity for us to acknowledge and recognize the success of our alumni and their contributions,โ said Katie Olsen, executive director of the foundation. โThe alumni awards also showย present and prospective students the many exemplary alumni who began their education here. CCM is a gateway for success, and we are proud of our alumni and the 2018 awardees.โ
The โDancing Through the Decades: CCM Celebrates 50 Yearsโ gala will feature concoctions and cultures of five decades, running from the 1960s to the present. An extensive silent auction also will be offered to attendees. Items to be included in the auction are Broadway show tickets to the Tony award-winning โHamiltonโ and โFrozen,โ a Henri Bendel bag, overnight getaways, private wine tasting parties, a round of golf, Yankee tickets and more.
