MORRIS COUNTYย โย On Saturday, December 17, members of the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey helped to brighten the holidays for children at risk.
The Italian American Police Society of New Jersey partnered with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northern New Jersey to provide toys, clothes and gifts for children who come from at risk families.

More than 300 guests attended this yearโs party, held at the American Legion Post #155 in Whippany, and enjoyed pizza and refreshments.
The children were entertained by a face painter and police officers from New Jersey. As always Santa & Mrs. Claus made an appearance to hand out the gifts to the attendees. โIt is very gratifying for our members to host such an event. This year has been such a tough time for so many New Jersey families and we are proud to make their holiday brighterโ,โ said Society President William Schievella.
The Society founded in 1985 is the stateโs largest ethnic law enforcement organization with members from local, county, state and federal law enforcement organizations from throughout the state with a membership of more than 5,000. Each year the group holds many charitable events to benefit those in need.
