BALTIMOREย โ€”ย The Baltimore Sun reportsย about one of thousands of dogs who ended up homeless in theย wake of Hurricane Katrina 10 years ago.ย According to the article, Dizzy, who today isย thriving, endured a 2 month journey from the Gulf Coast toย Baltimore. He spent time in makeshift shelters until the Maryland SPCA transported 189ย dogs and cats to its facility.

According to the article, the storm left more than 100,000 pets homeless in Louisianaย and Mississippi.
