DWI arrest on Parsippany Road

PARSIPPANY — While on patrol on Saturday, June 17 at 12:54 a.m. in the area of Parsippany Road and Route 202, Patrol Officer Jesse Hughes observed a 2001 Nissan Sentra make an unsafe lane change and proceed southbound on Parsippany Road.

He conducted a motor vehicle stop on the vehicle and spoke to the driver, Antione Hollis, 29, Newark.

After a brief investigation he was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. He was subsequently charged with the following Traffic Offenses: Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Unsafe Lane Change.

He was released on his own recognizance pending his court date.
