Volunteers Clean Up Rain Gardens at Town Hall

PARSIPPANY — Whippany River Watershed Action Committee members, Ingrid Whitty – rain garden expert, Boy Scout Troop 173, volunteers from the Parsippany Environmental Commission were at Town Hall on Saturday, June 1, restoring the rain gardens.

Don Covart, owner of Fox Hollow Landscaping & Design, delivered river rock and offered invaluable guidance and support. It was a team effort!

A second clean-up is being planned shortly, and they are looking for more volunteers. Please contact Leonard “Len” Cipkins by emailing lcipkins@weichert.com.
