PARSIPPANY – For a fifth consecutive year, the Township Council is set to adopt an emergency appropriation covering hefty payouts to retired police officers and other former employees. An ordinance authorizing the appropriation, totaling $607,956 paid earlier in 2016 to 11 former employees for unused sick and vacation time, is scheduled for a vote on Tuesday.โ€ฆ
