Theft of multiple catalytic converters from vehicles

PARSIPPANYย โ€” Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Headquarters was contacted on Friday, October 30 from a victim to report the theft of multiple catalytic converters from company vehicles located at 1140 Route 46. Patrol Officer J. Williams responded to the scene and spoke to the victim. He was advised that three vehicles, two Ford Escapes and one 2001 Ford Econoline van, had their catalytic converters removed between Thursday, October 29ย and Friday, October 30ย at 10:00 a.m.ย by an unknown thief(s).

This incident is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Investigative Division at (973) 263-4313.

This is the tenthย theft of motor vehicle parts incident in Parsippany since late July. Please be alert and immediately report any suspicious activity to the Parsippany Police Department at (973) 263-4300 or in an emergency dial 911.
