Blue Collar Workers donate to Par Hills Parent Football Association

PARSIPPANY — Parsippany members of the New Jersey Blue Collar Association, municipal workers in departments including sanitation, water, parks and public works, made a sizeable donation to the Parsippany Hills Parent Football Association (PHFPA) during half time of its home game vs Roxbury,  on November 6.

“The $1,000 donation from the Blue Collar Union Local No. 1 is fantastic,” said PHFPA President John Mucciolo. “On behalf of our 70 players and their families, we would like to thank Sam Poff, president, Paul Breslauer, vice president, and all the membership of Blue Collar Union for their generous support.”

He explained, “PHFPA is in place to support the student-athlete.  Our goal is to assist PHHS in making the student-athletes’ high school athletic experience the very best it can be. Some examples of PHFPA’s efforts include, Year End Football Banquet, Trophies, Player Meals during camp, Shorts/Shirts sets, end of camp BBQ, Concession Stand, Fan Zone Apparel, pre-game Dinners, Game Day Decorations, Senior Motorcade, Game Day Program, Senior Field Tributes, Preparation, Cleanup and Maintenance of the PHHS Football Facility, Senior Scholarship and much, much more”.

Our partnership with the Blue Collar Union helps us to enhance the lives of great, hardworking student athletes in Parsippany.”
