PARSIPPANY — A child’s preschool experience can impact his or her academic career and success as an adult. Recognizing that, the nonprofit organization, Preschool Advantage, was formed more than 20 years ago and continues to offer preschool tuition to three- and four-year-old children whose families need assistance to provide them with that education.
“Studies have demonstrated that early childhood education profoundly affects a child’s life, including intellectual development, self-confidence, even future earning potential,” says Molly Dunn, Executive Director of the nonprofit Preschool Advantage. “It enables our children to grow up to be responsible and fulfilled adults.”
Preschool Advantage is currently accepting applications for the September, 2016 to June, 2017 school year for half-day tuition, 3 to 5 days a week, at one of 17 local quality partner preschools. To qualify, children must be 3 or 4 years old by October 1, 2016 and parents must demonstrate a financial need for assistance. The application deadline is February 28.

Since 1995, Preschool Advantage has recognized the long-term impact that quality early childhood education has on children and the character of our community and has underwritten the cost for nearly 800 children.
