Parsippany High School Graduate of 1996, All-State Football Star dies

Aaron Edward DeLuca was 37 at the time of his death

PARSIPPANY — Aaron Edward DeLuca, 37, passed away on Friday, November 13 at his home in Manchester.

Aaron was born in Livingston and grew up in Parsippany before moving down the shore five years ago.

He graduated from Parsippany High School in 1996. Aaron then went on to attend Montclair State University, Fairleigh Dickenson University and graduated from The Chubb Institute in 2002.

Following in his Uncle Mike’s footsteps at Parsippany High School, he was a gifted artist and a dedicated All-Star athlete and received many awards for both. He played many sports but his love was playing football.  In 1996, he received awards for Parsippany High School Lineman of the Year, All-County 1st Team and NJ All-State. His artwork is also in the Permanent Art Collection at the Department of Education in Trenton.

Aaron was self-employed as a web designer and a marketing communications specialist. He also worked on projects with his late uncle at Graphic Impact in Sunapee, NH.

He was predeceased by his fiancée, Barbara Perez; his uncle, Michael F. Ryan; his  maternal grandmother, Ann M. Ryan, his paternal grandparents,  Helen and Louis DeLuca and his bulldog, Alexander the Great.

Aaron is survived by his mother, Deborah (nee-Ryan) DeLuca of Manchester;  his father, Raymond DeLuca of Lakewood; and his maternal grandparents, Edward A. Ryan and Marilynne Tortorello of Conway, SC.; he is also survived by his many dear relatives and friends.

Cremation was private. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to the Ryan Foundation for the Arts (PHS Scholarship Fund, in memory of Aaron DeLuca), 7 Frances Court, Manchester, New Jersey 08759.
