Sheriff’s Sale Scheduled for Winfield Drive Property in Parsippany

PARSIPPANY — A public sheriff’s sale will be held for the property at 37 Winfield Drive on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The auction will take place in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room of the Administration and Records Building on Court Street in Morristown.

The sale is being held under Sheriff’s Sale No. 26001021 (Docket No. F-011630-22) in the case of PennyMac Loan Services, LLC vs. Barbara Smith et al. The property is listed with a minimum bid of approximately $771,852.35.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom home spans about 2,599 square feet on a 0.39-acre lot and was built in 1964. It last sold in April 2016 for $479,900 and carries a current property tax assessment of $358,600, with 2025 taxes of $12,458.

Interested bidders are advised to conduct their own research into any outstanding taxes or liens on the property.

If surplus funds remain after the sale, eligible parties may file a motion with the Superior Court to claim them.
