Dear Editor:

SUPERINTELLIGENCE, Really?

10 megawatts is enough to continuously power roughly 5,000 to 10,000 typical homes, depending on average energy use.

Industrial scale: 10 MW is a common capacity for a small utility-scale solar farm, a large wind turbine array, or a heavy industrial facility.

Why now under Trump? Trump campaign was financed by Silicon Valley Venture Capitalist Billionaires.

These Facilities do not use renewables and help support the ignorance, and greed behind the Human Induced Climate Change that is mounting in its to be impacts yet to manifest. Any renewables available on the common grid will be consumed first, most likely by the AI demands (is this the case now with our present grid use, business first?) The waste generated by computer chip use, and time up in their lifespan is a few years, so waste mounts, and continued mining exploitations mount.

LLC and Dummy Corporations

All these AI facilities are linked in a mass ownership of private interest that can vary and hide under corporate laws, as they can be used for Police Type invasions of privacy, and tracking; why now under this regime, and in such a fast-track manner?

This is not politics anymore it is morality itself invested in the law. Some call it a tax rateable. Add cryptocurrency, bitcoin, and money laundering made easy by “superintelligence.” A literal crime pays.

Beware the Programmer, Massive AI; Why Now?

This narrative of man v technology is false. It is not technology itself that is the problem, it is how we are being programmed more and more into allowing it to pervade our life. All things have limits. AI has gone far enough.

Supermajority, and Electric Grid

Electric Grid involves Regional Power Consumption; it is a Regional issue, not a local one in the real world. A total regional supermajority is required.

A city or local council decision warrants a supermajority when the action involves permanent, structural, or high-stakes changes that require broad consensus or protection against hasty actions.

Remember our tax dollars will subsidize these AI facilities and the Trump gang will see to that, so the billionaire class continues in their obscene wealth.

Warehouses, Prisons, and AI Facilities, the New Economy

If all our economy has left is continued land consumption in the name of an ever speculative economy based on capital accumulation, the very land of our country being developed and abandoned in phases of decades, we devour the ecological services, in a degeneration, all for the sake of employment, financial and environmental stress, and entropy.

Parsippany has a civic duty to oppose these facilities at this time especially.

Government as intended promotes prosperity aka common-good, creates harmony, and prevents destructive competition among various constituted groups. Will AI bring Healthcare, Housing, Education, Ecological sense to have a future worth living? The Big Beautiful Bill has made sure these rights will not bloom into the fields of the living. AI is another part of the trickle up economy.
