PARSIPPANY โ Parsippany High School boys soccer secured a dramatic 1-0 victory over Whippany Park on Tuesday, October 20, scoring with just 50 seconds remaining in regulation.
The Redhawks played well throughout the match but struggled to find the back of the net until the final minute.

At the 79:10 mark, Miguel Gonzalez delivered a beautiful diagonal pass to Jude Berry, who sent a cross into the penalty area. A Whippany Park defender redirected the ball into his own net, giving Parsippany the game-winning goal. Miguel was credited with his first assist of the season, according to the team.
Goalkeeper Aleks Dobrijevic delivered another impressive performance, recording 11 saves to preserve the shutout. Aleks had broken Parsippany High School’s career saves record in the previous game against Boonton and added another 11 saves to his total against Whippany Park.
Aleks, Sairam “Sai” Balaji, and Jude were the game’s three standout performers. Aleks, Sai, and Jude earned Man of the Match honors.
The victory was a complete team effort, with Parsippany’s defense helping secure the clean sheet and the Redhawks maintaining pressure until the final whistle.
