PARSIPPANY — Wal-Mart Stores East, LP has leased 32,960 square feet of warehouse space on Walsh Drive, according to a commercial zoning permit issued by the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.
The space is located at 260 Walsh Drive, Block 136, Lot 36, in the SED-5A zone. The property is owned by Tices Properties, LLC.
The building, located within Fox Hill Industrial Park minutes from Route 46, Interstate 80 and Interstate 287, is a 102,334-square-foot, multi-tenant Class B warehouse and distribution facility built in 1988. It sits on 17.57 acres and offers 150 parking spaces.
The permit was issued for a new tenant with no renovations. The warehouse use is permitted by ordinance, and the proposed business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The permit, Number Z26:524, was signed by Assistant Zoning Officer Angela Riley on Wednesday, September 30.
Earlier this year, Walmart leased 90,000 square feet of warehouse space at 100 Jefferson Road.
