PARSIPPANY โ€” Owners Joe and Christina Petocz officially opened the doors to Pizzanadaโ€™s newly renovated Lake Hiawatha restaurant on Saturday, August 15, following an extensive transformation of the property.

Located at 102 North Beverwyck Road, formerly occupied by Lake French Cleaners, Pizzanada brings another distinctive dining option to the communityโ€™s growing restaurant district.

Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Council President Judy Hernandez and Economic Development Advisory Board Chairman Frank Cahill joined the owners for a ceremonial ribbon cutting welcoming the business to Parsippany. Also attending the ribbon cutting was Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce Board Member Nicolas Limanov, Parsippany-Troy Hills Zoning Board Chairwoman Loretta Gragnani and Economic Development Member Steven Mandel.

“Welcome to the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for Pizzanada! We are proud to celebrate this exciting new addition to the Lake Hiawatha business community. We wish Pizzanadaโ€™s owners and staff great success and look forward to many years of delicious food, friendly service, and community involvement,” said Cahill.

The grand opening attracted a large crowd eager to sample the new restaurantโ€™s menu. Each attendee received a complimentary slice of pizza or chicken empanada during the celebration.

Joe and Christina Petocz, a husband-and-wife team, launched Pizzanada in March 2020 and also operate a location in Bloomfield. Despite opening during the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple continued building the business into a destination for traditional and vegan pizzeria favorites.

Pizzanada offers an extensive assortment of freshly prepared savory and sweet empanadas, handcrafted specialty pizzas, entrees and freshly baked vegan desserts. Its menu includes chicken parmigiana, pasta and seafood dishes, along with numerous plant-based selections that can be difficult to find at traditional pizzerias.

The restaurantโ€™s signature pizzas are available in traditional and completely vegan varieties, allowing Pizzanada to serve both plant-based diners and customers who prefer classic meat-and-cheese favorites.

With its diverse menu and established following at its Bloomfield location, Pizzanada is positioned to become a popular addition to the Lake Hiawatha dining scene.
