PARSIPPANY — Mayor Pulkit Desai and the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills will hold a flu and pneumonia clinic for seniors age 65 and older on Thursday, October 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Parsippany Community Center.
The clinic is by appointment only. Residents must call (973) 263-7160 to reserve a slot, as space is limited.
Vaccinations are free for residents with Medicare Part B, though attendees must bring their Medicare card. Health maintenance organizations, or HMOs, are not accepted. For those without Medicare, the fee is $10 for the flu shot and $15 for the pneumonia shot.
A limited number of high-dose flu shots will also be available for seniors age 65 and older.
Residents are asked to arrive five to ten minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
The clinic will be held at the Parsippany Community Center, 1130 Knoll Road, Lake Hiawatha.
