PARSIPPANY โ The Mount Tabor Historical Society has a full slate of fall programs planned, including a museum tour during Morris County’s annual history weekend, an Edgar Allan Poe program, a craft market and an online quilt auction.
Pathways of History โ Sunday, October 4, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Richardson History House. Visitors can tour the museum as part of Morris County’s annual Pathways of History weekend. Admission is free.
Edgar Allan Poe Program โ Saturday, October 24, 10:30 a.m., Mount Tabor Tabernacle. A speaker will portray Edgar Allan Poe, bringing vivid images, terrifying tales and heart-thumping excitement. Admission is free, and the building is accessible.
Mount Tabor Craft Market โ Saturday, November 7, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mount Tabor Tabernacle. Shoppers can browse quality handcrafted items and artwork from more than 25 local artisan vendors. Admission is free, and the building is accessible.
Silent Quilt Auction โ Now through Saturday, October 31. The Mount Tabor Historical Society is auctioning four handmade Mount Tabor 150th Anniversary “Lanterns” quilts online. The quilts are on display at the Mount Tabor Branch Library. Click here to visit the auction site.
Museum Open House Dates โ The Richardson History House will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11; Sunday, November 8; and Sunday, December 13.
