NEW YORK โ Parsippany resident and community leader Nicholas Bronzino proudly participated in the New York City Columbus Day Parade on Monday, October 12, marching alongside fellow members of the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey in a celebration of Italian-American heritage, culture and tradition.
Bronzino, who serves as Executive Director of the Parsippany Police Athletic League (PAL), is an active member of several community organizations, including the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey and the Sons of Italy.

The annual Columbus Day Parade along Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue brings together Italian-American organizations, community leaders, and thousands of participants and spectators to celebrate the contributions of Italian Americans to the United States.
“For me, this was about much more than participating in a parade,” said Bronzino. “As someone who takes tremendous pride in my Italian heritage, having the opportunity to march through New York City alongside members of the Italian American Police Society was truly an honor. It’s a moment I’ll remember for a very long time.”
A lifelong Morris County resident who grew up in East Hanover before settling in Parsippany, Bronzino has remained actively involved in organizations dedicated to community service, cultural preservation and youth development.

“Being Italian American is something I’ve always taken great pride in,” Bronzino added.
“Our traditions, our families, and our commitment to giving back are all part of who we are. Being surrounded by so many people celebrating that same heritage was an incredible experience.”
Bronzino expressed his appreciation to the Italian American Police Society of New Jersey for the opportunity to participate in the historic celebration.
He hopes his involvement will continue to encourage others, particularly younger generations, to embrace their heritage, preserve family traditions and become active members of their communities.
