PARSIPPANY — The Parsippany Police Athletic League (PAL) is proud to partner with Layups 4 Life and AMoney Sportz for the 9th Annual 3v3 Charity Basketball Tournament, taking place on Saturday, November 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parsippany PAL.
This year’s tournament will expand to feature both an Adult Division for players ages 18 and older and a Youth Division for players ages 10 to 17. Both tournaments will take place simultaneously, utilizing separate gyms at the PAL and bringing players of different generations together for a day centered around basketball, community and giving back.
Teams will compete in a 3v3 format with a maximum of four players per roster. Co-ed teams and players of all skill levels are welcome, and each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. Registration is $60 per player.
Proceeds from the event will benefit cancer research and youth basketball initiatives, continuing Layups 4 Life’s mission of using the game of basketball to make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.
The partnership brings together three organizations committed to creating opportunities through sports and strengthening the community. The addition of the youth tournament provides young athletes with an opportunity to compete alongside the excitement of the annual adult tournament while supporting an important cause.
Players are encouraged to grab their squad — friends, family members, coworkers or teammates — and bring their A-game to the court.
