PARSIPPANY — The Parsippany High School Marching Band Boosters held their first fundraiser of the season on Sunday, August 16, at Applebee’s Grill + Bar, 1057 Route 46 East.

Marching band students and their parents welcomed guests and served pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage during the morning event. Each breakfast also included a choice of a fountain drink, juice or coffee.
Caleb Lack, a junior at Parsippany High School, was among the student servers who volunteered during the fundraiser, delivering breakfast plates and assisting guests.
Mayor Pulkit Desai visited the students and parents, showing his support for the marching band and its upcoming season. He spent time speaking with participants and thanking them for their dedication to the school and community.
The fundraiser brought families, friends and community members together while helping support the marching band’s programs and activities.
The Parsippany High School Marching Band participates in performances, community events and competitions throughout the school year. Fundraisers organized by the Band Boosters help provide resources needed to support the students and their musical programs.
