PARSIPPANY — Mark J. Semeraro, managing and founding partner of Semeraro & Fahrney, LLC, has been selected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers list for the second consecutive year. The firm, based in Wayne, also has an office in Parsippany.

The recognition marks another milestone in a legal career spanning more than 30 years, with experience across personal injury litigation, employment law, real estate development, land use, redevelopment, public entity law and complex commercial litigation.
A lifelong Wayne resident, Semeraro has built his practice representing clients facing significant legal challenges, from serious injury and workplace disputes to development approvals and litigation involving businesses and local government.
His career includes securing multimillion-dollar settlements in personal injury and employment matters, as well as substantial land use and redevelopment approvals. His development practice encompasses commercial, retail, office, industrial, residential and mixed-use projects.
The son of a contractor, Semeraro learned to read blueprints at an early age. That foundation later became an asset in his legal work, helping him understand the practical challenges property owners and developers encounter as they move projects from concept through approval.
For more than two decades, Semeraro has also represented municipalities, counties and public authorities throughout New Jersey, including his hometown of Wayne. His work combines litigation experience with an understanding of government operations, public responsibilities and community development.
Before founding Semeraro & Fahrney, Semeraro held partnership positions at established New Jersey law firms, including Kaufman, Semeraro & Leibman, LLP. Today, he continues to lead a practice serving individuals, businesses, developers and public sector clients.
