PARSIPPANY โ€” Kalaaz Indian Wear celebrated its reopening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, November 1, at 119 Route 46 East, offering residents clothing and accessories from across India for weddings, festivals, and everyday wear.

Founded by Jignasa Zaveri, the boutique brings together traditional Indian clothing and contemporary styles. Its selection includes sarees, lehengas, sharara sets, gowns, and ready-made blouses, along with menโ€™s kurtas and vests for weddings and other special occasions.

Racks of colorful Indian wear, sorted by size, fill Kalaaz Indian Wear at 119 Route 46 East in Parsippany.

The collection features clothing from different parts of India, with a variety of silks, cottons, and other materials. Shoppers can explore different fabric textures, colors, and patterns, from lighter pieces for casual gatherings to more elaborate outfits for celebrations. Embroidered garments and designs featuring mirror work, pearls, and decorative trim add to the selection.

Among the traditional offerings are chaniya cholis associated with Gujarat, sarees, and sharara sets. The boutique also carries Western-style gowns, giving customers additional options alongside its traditional Indian attire.

Customers can mix and match separate blouses, lehengas, and dupattas to create an outfit suited to their preferences. Rather than choosing only a coordinated set, shoppers can pair different fabrics and colors or select individual pieces to complement clothing they already own.

Jewelry is also part of the boutiqueโ€™s offerings. The businessโ€™s team includes Vimal Zaveri, who specializes in custom gold and silver jewelry and has more than 30 years of experience, according to Kalaazโ€™s website.

The reopening follows the boutiqueโ€™s earlier location at 1246 Route 46 West, where it celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony in April 2023. The November ceremony marked another chapter for the business at its Route 46 East location.
