PARSIPPANY โ€” Hotel Troy, a Trademark Collection by Wyndham property, celebrated its ribbon cutting on Wednesday, September 30, marking the official debut of a boutique hotel designed to transport guests to the sophistication and optimism of the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Mayor Pulkit Desai, Parsippany-Troy Hills Economic Development Committee Chairman Frank Cahill and members of the Economic Development Committee join the Hotel Troy team for a ribbon cutting at the Trademark Collection by Wyndham property, 8 Wood Hollow Road, on Wednesday, September 30.

Mayor Pulkit Desai and Parsippany-Troy Hills Economic Development Committee Chairman Frank Cahill joined members of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Economic Development Committee and the Hotel Troy team for the ceremony, welcoming the hotel to the townshipโ€™s business community. Hotel Troy Chief Innkeeper Scott McArthur welcomed guests and addressed the gathering outside the hotelโ€™s main entrance before the ribbon was cut.

โ€œWe proudly welcome Hotel Troy, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, to Parsippany and celebrate its ribbon-cutting ceremony,โ€ said Cahill. โ€œOffering comfortable accommodations, spacious rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, fitness facilities and convenient highway access, the hotel provides business and leisure travelers with service and hospitality.โ€

Located at 8 Wood Hollow Road near Interstate 80 and Interstate 287, the newly renovated hotel is managed by OTH Hotels and Resorts and led by McArthur and his team.

Inspired by the refined style of the Mad Men era, Hotel Troy combines mid-century modern architecture, warm hospitality and personalized service. Rather than feeling like a typical chain hotel, the property is designed to feel like a private club or the home of a gracious host. Guests are greeted by name, and every detail โ€” from the music and dรฉcor to the scent of the lobby and the presentation of a cocktail โ€” has been carefully considered.

The design celebrates clean architectural lines, natural wood, brass, leather, stone and vintage-inspired artwork. Public spaces are meant to encourage conversation, relaxation and productivity, while guest rooms offer a peaceful retreat with premium bedding, upscale amenities and understated elegance.

The hotel offers 101 non-smoking guest rooms, each with a flat-screen television, mini-refrigerator and coffee and tea maker. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, a business center, a sundry shop, free outdoor parking and electric vehicle charging stations. The hotel is also pet-friendly.

At the center of the concept is Troy Social, the hotelโ€™s Italian-American restaurant and bar, envisioned as a neighborhood gathering place where guests and local residents come together over handcrafted cocktails, quality food and attentive service in a stylish mid-century setting. Troy Social serves breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Lunch, dinner and the bar are open from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.

For meetings and celebrations, Hotel Troy offers 2,000 square feet of flexible event space that can accommodate up to 122 guests for conferences or banquets.

The hotel is designed to serve business travelers seeking a sophisticated alternative to standard corporate hotels, couples looking for a romantic weekend escape, leisure travelers exploring Northern New Jersey and nearby New York City, and local residents visiting for dining, cocktails, meetings and special events. The property is close to several major Parsippany-area employers, including ADP, Teva and Pfizer, and is about 24 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport and 28 miles from New York City.

The hotelโ€™s employee culture is also distinctive. Staff members are referred to as Innkeepers, professionals who take personal ownership of every guest experience. According to the hotel, modern luxury is not defined by extravagance but by thoughtful service, genuine human interaction and attention to detail, and every team member is empowered to create memorable moments that turn first-time visitors into loyal returning guests.

Hotel Troyโ€™s goal is to become Northern New Jerseyโ€™s premier independent boutique hotel, recognized for exceptional service, timeless design, memorable dining and a guest experience that feels personal from arrival to departure.
