PARSIPPANY โ Parsippany Hills High School opened its doors to families on Friday, October 30, for its annual Halloween at the Hills, and the Key Club was among the student organizations greeting young trick-or-treaters as they made their way through the building.

Organized by the Student Council, the event turned classrooms and spaces throughout the school into a safe, indoor trick-or-treat route. Each stop was labeled either “Friendly” or “Scary,” letting families decide how much of a fright they wanted.

The Key Club hosted one of the “Friendly” stops on the first floor, giving younger visitors a welcoming place to collect treats. Key Club is a student-led service organization sponsored by Kiwanis International that focuses on leadership and community service, and events like Halloween at the Hills give members a chance to serve families right in their own community.
The Student Council set up in the cafeteria, where it collected canned food for the Interact Club and provided tables for families to take a break and enjoy activities for all ages.
Joining the Key Club on the first floor were the Student Council, the PHHS Players, the Main Office, the Interact Club and the Strings Club. Upstairs, families visited the French Club, the ERASE Club, the Science National Honor Society, the National Art Honor Society, the Anime Club and GSA, and the ICC. The PHHS Players and the National Art Honor Society offered the evening’s “Scary” stops for those looking for a thrill.

The Student Council Executive Board thanked everyone who attended and supported the annual tradition.
