PARSIPPANY — The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Council will consider nearly $24.1 million in capital spending during its regular meeting on Tuesday, July 21 which starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard.

Ten ordinances are scheduled for final readings and public hearings. The largest appropriations include:
- $10.659 million for general municipal capital improvements, including $200,000 from the Opioid Fund.
- $7.105 million for water utility improvements.
- $4.8 million for sewer utility improvements.
- $477,700 for general capital improvements.
- $425,000 for sewer capital improvements.
- $240,000 for Green Acres-funded improvements.
- $261,000 for golf utility equipment through two separate ordinances.
- $100,000 from the emergency preparedness reserve for a vehicle.
The council will also consider granting municipal consent to CSC TKR, LLC, doing business as Cablevision of Morris, to continue operating a cable television system in Parsippany.
A new ordinance establishing township salary ranges for 2025 through 2028 is scheduled for introduction. Its public hearing and final vote would take place on August 18.
Other notable matters include:
- A grievance settlement and new collective negotiations agreement with Parsippany’s blue-collar workers.
- A grant application for improvements to Dryden Way.
- A design contract with Netta Architects for proposed renovations to the Lake Hiawatha Branch Library.
- Final change orders for the Edwards Road Phase 2 project and Mount Tabor Phase VIII street reconstruction.
- Renewal of Origini Ristorante’s liquor license.
- Transfer of a hotel exception license from Aimbridge Hospitality to Aura Management Group.
- Emergency repairs at 3 Morton Place and Manito Avenue.
- Purchase of two Petersen Lightning Loaders.
- Replacement of a discharge valve for Raw Pump No. 3.
- Property-tax cancellations and refunds for two permanently disabled veterans.
- Continued participation with Morris County in the Home Investment Partnership Program.
The council will also vote on an estimated $1.75 million payroll and approximately $2.01 million in bills.
