PARSIPPANY — One of the township’s most anticipated Halloween traditions is back, and this year the family behind the annual display at 24 Sedgefield Drive is inviting visitors to experience “The Curse of Sedgefield.”
Known in past seasons for the “Evil Pumpkin Patch” and last year’s “24 Scarefield,” the home has become a must-see stop for families each October. This year’s display is a fun mix of spooky Halloween scenes featuring zombies, skeletons, pumpkins, a haunted cemetery, animatronics, smoke, lighting effects and plenty of creepy little surprises throughout.

“We try to make it spooky and atmospheric while still keeping it fun for families and kids to enjoy,” the organizers said.
Skeletons for St. Jude
This year, the display is also taking part in Skeletons for St. Jude, an effort to help raise awareness and support for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which treats children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Visitors who stop by to enjoy the scares can also learn how to support the hospital’s mission.
Follow the Curse
Visitors can share their photos and follow the display on social media using #TheCurseOfSedgefield.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy the display while being mindful of the neighborhood and respectful of the homeowners’ hard work, so this cherished tradition can continue for years to come.
