PARSIPPANY โ€” Remote Worksยฎ, a flexible workspace and commercial real estate company, celebrated the grand opening of its new Parsippany location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 8, at 7 Entin Road.

The event, held in partnership with the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce, marked the opening of the company’s flagship workspace, designed for remote professionals, entrepreneurs, small businesses, and companies seeking alternatives to traditional office leases.

The facility features fully furnished private offices, conference rooms, open workspaces, a podcast studio, a cafรฉ, and an art gallery, bringing several workplace amenities together under one roof.

Parsippany-Troy Hills Mayor Pulkit Desai delivers remarks congratulating Remote Works founder Stephen Sannicandro on the grand opening of his company’s new location at 7 Entin Road in Parsippany.

โ€œWeโ€™re not necessarily trying to reinvent the office. Weโ€™re rethinking how people use it,โ€ said Remote Works Founder and President Stephen M. Sannicandro.

Sannicandro began developing the Remote Works concept in 2017, before remote and hybrid work became widespread. Drawing on his background in commercial real estate development, construction, and project management, he envisioned a business that could serve both professionals seeking flexible workspace and property owners looking to modernize existing office buildings.

Building the company came with challenges. Sannicandro said Remote Works has been largely self-funded, requiring years of investment in technology, partnerships, and business infrastructure.

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated demand for remote work, but also brought uncertainty to the commercial real estate industry. Since then, Sannicandro said businesses have increasingly sought professional meeting environments, reliable technology, privacy, and flexibility without long-term lease commitments.

โ€œI think the market has moved beyond the question of whether remote work is here to stay. The bigger question now is how we create better environments to support it,โ€ Sannicandro said.

With Parsippany’s established commercial real estate market and business community, Sannicandro sees an opportunity for Remote Works to support local entrepreneurs while bringing new activity into existing office buildings.

โ€œUltimately, if Remote Works helps a local entrepreneur launch a company, a small business grow, or an existing property become more productive, then weโ€™re accomplishing what we set out to do,โ€ he said.

Parsippany Economic Development Advisory Committee Chairman Frank Cahill congratulates Remote Works founder Stephen Sannicandro on the grand opening of his company’s new Parsippany location.

The company is already evaluating an expansion of approximately 9,000 additional square feet at 7 Entin Road, which would bring the overall facility to roughly 17,000 square feet. Remote Works is also exploring partnerships with commercial property owners and investors to establish additional locations.

For Sannicandro, the opening represents years of work bringing together his experience in real estate, construction, technology, and creativity. A longtime musician and songwriter, he said building Remote Works has allowed him to combine his professional background with his creative interests.

โ€œWhat people see today at 7 Entin Road is the result of years of work, relationships, and a lot of talented people coming together,โ€ Sannicandro said. โ€œAnd while Iโ€™m proud of what weโ€™ve built, I still view this as the beginning.โ€
