Parsippany Senior Center to Host Tax Benefits Workshop

PARSIPPANY โ€” The Parsippany Senior Center will host a presentation titled “Maximizing Your Tax Benefits: Navigating the PAS-1 Application,” presented by Thai Nguyen, on Wednesday, August 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The program is open to residents age 65 and older or those who receive Social Security disability payments, who may qualify for the following:

  • Senior Freeze โ€” for eligible residents who own or live in a mobile park or home
  • ANCHOR โ€” property tax relief for eligible homeowners and renters
  • StayNJ Program โ€” assistance with property tax payments of up to $6,500 for eligible residents

The event will be held at the Parsippany Senior Center, 1130 Knoll Road in Lake Hiawatha. Attendees using GPS navigation are advised to enter Boonton as the destination.

Registration is required and can be completed by calling (973) 263-7351.

The event is sponsored by NORWESCAP RSVP and AmeriCorps Seniors.
