PARSIPPANY — Mosquito control treatments are scheduled for early Tuesday morning in Parsippany due to an increase in adult mosquito populations, the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control said.
Crews will treat wooded areas by all-terrain vehicle on Tuesday, Sept. 1, between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
Treatment is scheduled near Elm Avenue near Rockaway Neck Park, as well as Sagamore Road and Percypenny Lane.
Officials said crews will use either Anvil 2+2, which contains the active ingredient sumithrin, or Zenivex E4, which contains the active ingredient etofenprox.
Residents with questions about the mosquito control program or scheduled treatments can contact the Morris County Division of Mosquito Control at (973) 285-6450.
