MORRIS COUNTY — Morris County has 31 mail-in ballot drop boxes located throughout the county. Voters can deposit a voted ballot in a drop box beginning approximately 45 days before each election. All ballot drop boxes close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
The ballot drop boxes are all outdoors and under surveillance 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They resemble a United States Postal Service blue mailbox but are red, white and blue and display the words “Morris County – Official Ballot Drop Box.” County representatives will pick up the ballots, and all security measures will be followed when collecting and transporting the ballots back to the Board of Elections.
