PARSIPPANY — Leadership is rarely a straight path. Behind every accomplishment are moments of uncertainty, difficult decisions, setbacks, mentors, opportunities and the courage to keep moving forward.
On Saturday, November 14, the Parsippany Lions Club, in partnership with Integration International, Inc. (i3), will bring together an accomplished and diverse group of women leaders for “Dream. Dare. Do.” – Women’s Leadership Forum, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Dolce by Wyndham, formerly the Sheraton, 199 Smith Road.
The community is invited to hear candid stories and practical insights from women representing business, healthcare, education, law, government, corporate leadership, law enforcement and journalism.
The panel will feature:
- Dr. Maria Isaza, Dean of the School of Health Professions and Natural Sciences at County College of Morris
- Dr. Linda Gillam, Medical Director and Chair of Cardiovascular Medicine at Atlantic Health System
- Ann F. Grossi, attorney and elected Morris County Clerk
- Christine Myers, business executive, entrepreneur, President of the Employers Association of New Jersey and Morris County Commissioner
- Jean Casner, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Embecta
- Sergeant Lydia Negron of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office
The conversation will be moderated by Briana Vannozzi, Emmy Award-winning journalist, Anchor and Senior Political Correspondent for NJ Spotlight News.
Guided by the theme “Dream. Dare. Do.,” the forum will go beyond professional titles and accomplishments to explore the human stories behind leadership — the moments of uncertainty, lessons learned along the way, setbacks that became turning points, and people who helped make a difference.
“When women from different professions and life journeys come together and openly share their experiences, we gain more than diverse perspectives — we discover what it takes to lead, persevere and lift others along the way,” said Pratap Jayakar, First Vice District Governor, Lions District 16-N (North Jersey), and Founding President of the Parsippany Lions Club.
The forum is especially intended to inspire women, young professionals, college students and teenage girls. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.
At its heart, “Dream. Dare. Do.” is more than a conversation about leadership. It is a conversation about the moments that shape us, the people who inspire us, and the choices that move us forward.
