Lake Hiawatha resident charged with Shoplifting at Target

PARSIPPANY — Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Officers responded to Target, 1157 Route 46, for a reported shoplifter on Sunday, March 31 at 6:10 p.m.

Upon their arrival, they spoke to Loss Prevention Personnel. After a brief investigation, Mr. Suchit Gupta, 28, Lake Hiawatha, was placed under arrest for attempting to shoplift a Qi certified wireless charging pad valued at $29.99.

He was transported to police headquarters for processing. While there, he was charged with Shoplifting, a Disorderly Persons Offense

He was released on his own recognizance pending his court date.
