Driver charged with multiple offenses including CDS possession

PARSIPPANY — Parsippany-Troy Hills Police Patrol Officers J. Garza and R. Taylor observed a 2005 Ford Van that had exited the Red Roof Inn, 855 Route 46,  commit several multiple moving violations. They conducted a motor vehicle stop and spoke to the driver, Bryan Leon, 28, Scotch Plains.

After a brief investigation he was placed under arrest after he was found to be in possession of suspected Ketamine, suspected THC oil, and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia. Officers also observed numerous open containers of miniature Vodka.

He was transported to Parsippany Police Headquarters for processing. He was charged with the following one count of Third Degree Possession of CDS (Ketamine); Possession of Less than 50 Grams of Marijuana, a Disorderly Persons Offense; Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, a Disorderly Persons Offense; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Disorderly Persons Offense; Failure to Stop/Yield, a Traffic Offense; Failure to Signal, a Traffic Offense, CDS in a Motor Vehicle, a Traffic Offense and Possession of an Open Container in a Motor Vehicle, a Traffic Offense.

He was released on his own recognizance pending his court date.
