PARSIPPANY — The Parsippany High School held the Fourth Annual Glammies on Thursday, January 16. The Glammies were organized by the Student Council, and leading the group was Ally Schlosser.
The seniors received awards for categories such as Best Smile, Nicest Eyes, Class Scholar, Class Couple, Couple That Never Was, Best Hair, Best Laugh, Best Girl Buds, Most Likely to Succeed, Class Musician, Class Clown and many others.
Between the awards the Hosts, James Kinzer and Steven Patracuolla, roasted the seniors and reading tweets that the audience were tweeting using the #PHSGlammies during the evening.
Some of the tweets included, Dr. Denis Mulroony, said, “I wish I was at the #phsglammies so I could buy insurance from Aarin Feliz’s mustache. I hope everyone is having fun and behaving tonight.” Video on the Go tweeted “#phsglammies are funny, heartwarming, and great to see! If you missed tonight follow us on Facebook to see the video when we post it!”. Ally Schlosser tweeted “in love with @ABoyNamed JohnNJ #phsglammies.” James Brennan tweeted “Shave the mustache….You all know who I’m talking about.”
The night ended with a performance by “A Boy Named John” performing “Affectum Terrore,” “I Wrote Sins Not Tragedies,” and “Sir Rock.” The Boy Named John also won “Class Musician” award.
The money raised during this evening will be used to support Senior Class events.
