Reynolds Avenue driver hits utility pole; bounces in ditch; sent to hospital

PARSIPPANY — Samantha Bullock, 25, Wharton, was traveling south on Reynolds Avenue and as she approached the bend in the roadway, she failed to negotiate the turn and struck utility pole head on. After striking the utility pole, it appears the force of the collision caused the rear end of the vehicle to bounce into a ditch along side of the road.

Bullock’s left leg was pinned underneath the dashboard indicating she was not properly secured with a safety belt prior to the collision.

She was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital by Par-Troy Emergency Medical Services.

Officer Andrew Sadowki investigated the accident.

Ms. Bullock was issued three summons, failure to wear seatbelt, unlicensed driver (expired) and careless driving.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5.
