PHS Marching Band wins Second Place at Yamaha Cup

PARSIPPANY — The Parsippany High School Marching Band competed in the 2014 Yamaha Cup at MetLife Stadium.

The Red Hawks came in Second place out of 13 bands with a score of 91.65.

They also received “The Cadet Award of Excellence.” This award was given to the band in recognition of their achievement in Creativity, Performance, and Overall Effect.

At every football game and competition the Marching Red Hawks are introduced as the “Pride of Parsippany” and every time they take the field they give 110%, Parsippany is very Proud of Parsippany High School Marching Red Hawks! Pride Honor Spirit and EXCELLENCE!

Drum Majors are Lily Peng, Megan Wang and Dev Lad.

Directors are Gregory Dalakain, Keith Bush, Alex Nielson, Percussion Instructor.

The 2014-15 PHS Marching Band show features “Classic Rock” tunes from the following artists: Billy Joel, The Beatles, Aerosmith & Elton John!
