Patrolman Robert Smolen responded to a report of a vehicle that struck an utility pole on Parsippany Boulevard at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 23.
Lo Chen, 39, Parsippany was traveling east on Littleton, making a left turn onto Parsippany Boulevard, and slid off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Police investigation revealed the accident occurred because of Chen’s unsafe speed on the wet road surface condition. Chen was driving a 2001 Altima Nissan.
Ms. Chen was transported to Morristown Medical Center by Parsippany Emergency Medical Services as a precaution.
Her vehicle was towed from the scene by Hiawatha Towing.
