This year, more than 500 teams will participate in “the Pride.” In addition to teams from throughout New Jersey, the Pride draws teams from surrounding states including, Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut. For the second time, the Pride has gone international with teams from Canada participating. The Pride is the largest fall soccer tournament in the Northeast.
The tournament will kick off on Friday night, October 10, and run through Sunday afternoon on October 12, 2014. Matches will be held on 63 fields at 23 different venues throughout Parsippany at Township parks and schools, Boonton Township (RVA Complex), Roxbury (Horseshoe Lake Recreation Complex), Denville (Morris Catholic HS) and Hanover (Memorial Middle School).
Parsippany SC could not host this tournament without the support of many partners, including the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills; Parsippany Parks and Recreation Departments; Parsippany Board of Education; Township of Boonton; Mountain Lakes-Boonton Township-Boonton Soccer Club; Hanover Soccer Club; Township of Roxbury; Roxbury Soccer Club; and Morris Catholic High School. Parsippany SC would like to recognize a new partner this year, the Morris County Park Commission as the Pride moves to the new Morris County Central Park turf complex this year.
In addition, the success of the Pride depends on numerous sponsors. This year the Pride is fortunate to again have Atlantic Health Systems and Adidas as its main sponsors.
