A 17 year old male from Denville was driving a 2002 GMC with a 17 year old male front seat passenger also from Denville was traveling west on Route 10 through a green traffic signal when a 2012 Mercedes failed to observe the red traffic signal while entering the intersection traveling north on Route 202, crashing into the GMC.
The driver of the Mercedes was found at fault and issued a summons for Failing to Observe Traffic Signal.
Both driver’s sustained injuries to their arms. Parsippany Volunteer Ambulance transported the 17 year old driver to Saint Clare’s Hospital.
The driver of theMercedes refused medical attention. The Mercedes also had front airbag deployment.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Powermill Towing.
