


An accident that occurred Sunday afternoon, September 7, on Route 80 eastbound near Exit 43 created significant delays, according to the state Department of Transportation.
New Jersey State Police responded to a report of an accident nearย milepost 43 involving two tractor-trailers and a Volkswagen, at 2:50 p.m.
One of the truck drivers was transported to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Parsippany-Troy Hills Volunteer Fire Department District 6 responded to the scene to clean up fuel that was ย spilled on the highway.
