PARSIPPANY — Cub Scouts Pack 177 enjoy an evening of playing games, team building activities, moon gazing, roasting marshmallow and learning survival skills in the woods, sleeping overnight in tents.
Camping takes the scouts on exciting adventures into the natural world. They learn to live with others in the out-of-doors. They learn to be a good citizen of the outdoors.
Camping is fun, and it’s good for the mind, body, and spirit. It helps the scouts learn to rely on yourself—on your own skills and knowledge. When they go camping as a Cub Scout, the scouts learn skills that they will use later, as a Boy Scout.
