Annelise Catanzaro resigns from Municipal Alliance Committee

Annelise Catanzaro resigned from Municipal Alliance Committee (MAC). Her last meeting was on Thursday, June 12.

She has been on the committee for more than six years and has really been an asset, turned MAC around tremendously.  Cheryl Lowe will take her position as temporarily Chair, until Mayor James Barberio appoints a replacement. MAC is the drug/alcohol prevention committee. To learn more about MAC, click here.

The Municipal Alliance Committee has been active in Parsippany Troy-Hills Township for over thirty years. The Committee’s mission is prevent alcohol and drug abuse within the Parsippany community. In pursuit of this mission, MAC committee members organize and coordinate the efforts of the public schools, police force, and other organizations to create a stronger community and healthier individual citizens, thereby reducing the likelihood of drug and alcohol abuse.

MAC Meetings are open to the public, and we encourage anyone who would like to get involved to attend our next meeting.

Former Councilman Jonathan Nelson said “Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Municipal Alliance Committee lost a great chair and selfless volunteer. She will definitely be missed.”

Annelise thanks the MAC members for the thoughtful gift and wishes MAC success for the future.
