Freeholders Declare Relay for Life Days in Morris County

Mastrangelo presents the proclamation to the event’s chairwoman, Bonnie Rosenthal, surrounded by other Relay for Life team members and the freeholders.

The Morris County Freeholders have declared May 31 – June 1 Relay for Life Days in the county, in recognition of one of the American Cancer Society’s signature events.

This year’s Relay for Life of Central Morris County will take place at Smith Field, starting at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, and ending at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, June 1.

Freeholder Director Tom Mastrangelo, on behalf of the entire freeholder board, issued the proclamation, which asks county residents to support Relay for Life, an overnight team event that celebrates cancer survivors and caregivers, remembers loved ones lost to the disease and empowers individuals and communities to fight back against cancer.
