NewBridge supporters tap their inner foodie at annual fundraiser

NewBridge, a nonprofit that provides counseling services, housing and educational programs in northern New Jersey, honored Wyndham Worldwide, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies and a strong NewBridge supporter.

“Wyndham Worldwide is proud of our partnership with NewBridge,” said Wyndham Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephen P. Holmes. “We are passionate about philanthropy and service to the communities we work in, and NewBridge’s impact on communities, its ability to help people in need, is palpable.”

NewBridge debuted a short, emotional video about the toll mental illness takes not only on those who suffer from it, but on their families too.

“Thank you for believing in NewBridge so that we can pull people out of despair and back into the light, so that we can end the suffering of so many people and the families who love them,'” NewBridge Chief Executive Officer Robert L. Parker told the roomful of supporters at the North Jersey Country Club.

Guests enjoyed tastings of wines and spirits as they bid on dozens of wonderful items and experiences, including four Disney World Park Hopper Passes, a gorgeous Coach purse and matching wallet, a Chelsea Piers passport for four, and 100,000 reward points from Wyndham Worldwide.
