The Parsippany High School Italian Honor Society and the Italian Club, under the supervision of Italian teacher, Angela Minichiello, continue to assist their community through fundraising and food drives. Recently, the club held a food drive in which they collected multiple boxes of non-perishable goods to donate to those in need. Additionally, the club purchased Shop Rite gift cards to help the cause and presented them to Barbara Ieovoli of the Parsippany Food Pantry at the latest Sons of Italy meeting. Furthermore, the club raised a large sum of money from a recent key chain sale and donated all the proceedings to a former club member whose family lost their house in a recent fire. This small gesture was the least the club could do for a family in need, especially someone who was a former and loyal member of the club. They would once again like to thank the Sons of Italy for their cooperation to make a positive impact on our community!
