Bert and Ernie are nearly identical one year old Mastiff mix brothers. They do not have any information on their history because they were picked up as strays and never reclaimed. Bert is a lovebug, a total snuggler! All he wants to do is be with people. He wants to find someone who is going to share their couch and possibly their bed with him.
Although Bert and Ernie are brothers, unfortunately they can not adopt them together to the same home. They have leash aggression towards one another. Bert and Ernie are very affectionate to people and have shown no aggression toward people. They both had behavior evaluations done at St. Huberts. Neither of them showed food aggression or any resource guarding. They should go to homes with no other dogs or small animals such as cats. A home with no small children will be best for them also. Bert and Ernie’s ideal homes would be with experienced, strong and consistent owners. They don’t know any basic obedience but seem very eager to learn. They are both neutered, UTD on vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm/lyme.
